This bibliography compiles Tate exhibition catalogues from 1930-1949.
The Second World War saw the Gallery close in August 1939. Artworks were moved offsite to Eastington Hall, Upton -on-Severn, The Hellens, Gloucestershire, and Muncaster Castle in Cumberland and some Underground stations.
